About Us

Since February 1997, Home Instead has been providing non-medical in home care for seniors and the disabled in the Birmingham area. So, if your mom has a stroke, or your dad has a hip replacement, or has a progressive disease like Parkinson's or Alzheimers; we provide the home health aides/certified nursing assistants to come into your home and help with the ADL (Activities of Daily Living): bathing, dressing, ambulation, transferring, toileting (incontinence care, etc), meal preparation, and light housekeeping. We also provide incidental transportation, companionship, medication reminders.....either long term or short term, in your home, wherever that may be (in an assisted living facility, hospital room, or skilled nursing room).
